What we've been up to...

I've been a serious slacker when it comes to blogging, but honestly there hasn't been much to blog about. I am so excited that fall is here. I love everything about fall: the cooler weather, the decor, being able to wear jackets and sweaters, the leaves changing color, making pumpkin bread and apple crisp, carving pumpkins, etc.

Keilani is growing up so fast and it really makes me sad, but proud at the same time. It's incredible how much toddler's retain. Keilani is constantly jabbering away and uses new words daily. It's been so much fun to see her vocabulary expand. Lately my favorite thing to do is watch Keilani play. I'm amazed at her imagination at this age. She especially loves to play mom to her baby. She'll change it's diaper, take it on walks in it's stroller, make it food and then feed it to her, put it to bed, read it books, etc. Today TG and I were watching videos we took when Keilani was maybe 2 months old. It's crazy how little she was and how much she has grown since then. We love her so much and know that she's going to be a great big sister to her little brother.

Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks--yes I know that I'm not in any of them, but I have a tendency to stay behind the camera when I am pregnant. And to my sister Mindi who keeps asking for a belly shot, it will be coming soon.

My mom's awesome friend got Keilani this adorable Steeler's t-shirt.
I don't know who was more excited about the shirt, Keilani or TG.

Keilani loves going to the farm at Thanksgiving Point.

Keilani managed to find the only puddle around and thought she would just stomp in it.

Keilani loves to wear TG's shoes even though they are as long as she is.

Little Miss Keilani

Keilani is 21 months old today! I can't believe how big she is getting. She is definitely Little Miss Independent. She has to do everything herself. She talks more and more every day. It's really nice that she can tell me what she wants, most of the time. Keilani loves to color, read books, sing, dance, clean, go on walks, take baths, play with her papa, eat watermelon, and play outside. She already has a great imagination and loves to play mommy to her bear and baby. She is obsessed with play food and dishes. She constantly makes me "food" and feeds it to me. I just love watching her play.

My awesome friend, Heather, was so nice to take some pictures of Keilani today. They turned out sooo cute, even though Keilani wasn't cooperative at all. Those of you who know Keilani, know that she NEVER sits still, so trying to get her to look at the camera, let alone smile, was quite a task. Thanks again Heather!
