The Dreaded Immunizations

I took Keilani to her two month check up a couple weeks ago and I was dreading it. I had just heard how awful the immunizations were, so I prepared myself for the worst. Keilani didn't do as bad as I thought she would. She didn't even know what was going on until the third shot. She cried more when the doctor held her head still to look in her ears than she did when she got her shots. Here are her stats:

Length: 21 3/4"- 25th %tile
Weight: 10 lbs 5 oz- 25th %tile
Head: 39 cm- 50th %tile

Here are some fun pictures we've taken over the last couple weeks.

Keilani loves going to the Utah State games to watch her uncle Tai. She went to her first game at 2 weeks old.

She's so tiny compared to Tai

I thought this was a funny picture of Keilani

Keilani is 2 months old

I can't believe that Keilani is already 2 months old. She is getting so big. She won't have her two month check up until next week- I'm dreading it. Keilani has acid reflux, but it doesn't hurt her as much now that she's on medication. I took her to the doctors to have it checked out last week and she weighed 9 lbs 7 oz. She still is not sleeping through the night, but only wakes up 1 or 2 times. I still can't get her to take naps in her crib, so she takes them in her swing. She is extra smiley after her morning feedings, I love it. She has discovered her voice and loves to talk. She is getting better at holding up her head, but still isn't a huge fan of tummy time. She has found her hands and loves to put them in her mouth. Keilani loves to cuddle which I absolutely love. If she is tired I will put her on my chest and she will curl up like a little ball. TG and I are so grateful to have Keilani in our lives.

This is how I get my blogging done.

Keilani's Baby Blessing

I've been meaning to post about Keilani's baby blessing, but this week has been pretty busy with me going back to work and all. We blessed Keilani on Sunday, February 1, 2009. TG gave a beautiful blessing. Keilani and I are so blessed to have TG in our lives. He's a wonderful husband and an incredible daddy. We are so grateful for our family and friends who came. It meant so much to us to have everyone there. My mom bought Keilani her beautiful blessing dress. Thanks mom for all your help.

I was tagged by Jhulliana and have to name 10 things that bug me and tag other people.

1. Gum. I hate it when people chomp on their gum. I especially hate when people put their gum on their plate or cup. It seriously makes me dry heave.

2. People who are judgmental.

3. Clutter. I can't stand any clutter. If I feel like my house or classroom is too cluttered I start throwing things away. Sometimes I get a little carried away and throw away important things.

4. Drivers who speed up when you turn on your turn signal.

5. When people think I'm younger than my little sister. I know I will be grateful for that when I'm older, but it really irritates me for some reason.

6. When I plan something and it doesn't work out according to plan.

7. Commercial breaks- especially when I'm watching The Bachelor.

8. When I say I'm going to workout and I don't.

9. The snow in February It's hard, yellow, and disgusting.

10. Annoying fans that just scream in your ear when you're trying to watch a game.
