Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. Daren and Mandy hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their house and it was fabulous. It was so much fun to eat, chat, and hang out with family. I ate WAY too much as I always do, but that's what Thanksgiving dinner is for.

Everyone waiting to eat

Keilani loved all of Cutler's toys, she was in heaven.

She also played in her chair for a good 30 minutes. Who knew it could be so entertaining.

Keilani loves to play with her cousin Cutler.

He even showed her how to rattle his gate.

Cutler is only 6 weeks older than Keilani. It's fun to watch them interact with each other.

11 months...a little late

I'm a little late on Keilani's 11 month old post, but better late than never. Keilani is so much fun and I can't believe in 2 1/2 weeks she will be 1 year old! Here are some fun things about Keilani at 11 months old:
  • is cutting 2 more teeth, so she now has 8 teeth
  • will stand up from a sitting position without any support
  • will finally let us hold her hands while she walks
  • will take a step and then sit down and crawl
  • is a pro at going down the stairs- if it were up to her she would go up and down the stairs ALL day
  • loves to go to her uncle Tai's basketball games and cheer with all the crazy fans and doesn't get scared even when her mother is screaming and whistling (I can get a little crazy at the games- I blame this trait on my mother)
  • loves to draw on paper
  • will comb her hair if I give her a comb
  • says mama, da da, ba (ball), da (dog), ber (bear)
  • is a busy body
  • loves any kind of ball
  • absolutely LOVES other kids, especially her cousins
Here are some pictures from the last month:

Keilani loves to play in our shoe basket.

Keilani with her cousin Mia at the Weber State-USU game.
Mia was so nice and let Keilani hog her pom poms for most of the game.

Keilani LOVES to put her daddy's hats on.

My very first NFL game

For those of you who know me know that I LOVE football. It's by far my favorite sport to watch. Well, back in April when the Steelers released their schedule TG and I saw that they were going to be playing at Denver this season. TG and I decided it would be the perfect Steelers game to go to because Denver is so close. I was so excited because I'd never been to a NFL game. On Monday morning TG, his brother Tika, Tika's brother-in-law Curt, and I flew out to Denver for the Monday Night Football game. The game was AWESOME! It was one of the funnest games I've ever been to, plus it helped that the Steelers won. I can't wait to go to another one...hopefully at Heinz Field. Here are the pictures from our day in Denver:

In front of the Hard Rock Cafe. We ate lunch here and as soon
as we walked in we were surrounded by Steeler fans.

In front of the stadium before the game.
There were so many Steeler fans tailgating before the game.

Check out this guys awesome defense sign.
The tropheys represent the six superbowls the Steelers have won.

Watching the players warm up.

We were sitting 15 rows from the field, they were awesome seats.

Hawaii in October = Amazing!

Back in July, TG's mom found a great deal on flights to Hawaii, so we jumped on the opportunity to go to Hawaii again. We decided that October would be the perfect time to go, especially after a hectic summer. So we left for Hawaii on October 23 and got back in town yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect! Here are some pictures I took from our trip.

Keilani hanging out at the beach.
Anytime she got close to the waves she would yell at them, it was funny.

We went to the PCC and it was a little humid that day,
so of course Keilani was all sweaty. She's just like her dad.

Keilani definetly had her fair share of sugar on this trip.
We walked over to Angels every day for shaved ice.

TG's parents had a Halloween Party at their church,
so we all got dressed up and went. If you're trying to figure out TG's costume,
he's an Italian gangster and no he does not really have that
much chest hair- it's drawn on.

TG absolutely LOVES to feed Keilani like a bird

Watching the sunset at Sunset Beach

On Halloween night we ate the buffet at Turtle Bay.
It was my first time eating king crab and it was amazing.
I totally look like I'm about to fall asleep,
but this was the only picture I took of us.

The last day we were there we got to watch a surf competition at Sunset Beach. I've never seen a real competition- it was awesome! This is the only picture I took of the competition. The rest is video and you can barely see the surfers on the video, so I'm not going to post it.
