Nothing but pictures

We haven't been up to much lately, so this post is going to be nothing but pictures- I know pretty boring. Maybe one day I'll come up with more creative posts, but until then enjoy the pictures.

My little girl is 16 months old!

Keilani turned 16 months on Wednesday. She has become miss independent which can be a good and bad thing. It's nice that she can do a lot for herself, but then at the same time she thinks she can do EVERYTHING on her own and gets so mad if I don't let her. Here are some things about Keilani at 16 months:
  • She absolutely loves to play outside and gets really upset when we come inside
  • She loves to talk on any phone and will have long conversations
  • Is obsessed with all animals
  • Walks/runs like a champ
  • Is such a big helper. She will get her diaper and wipes and then lay on the ground if I tell her that she needs her diaper changed.
  • Understands almost everything we ask her to do
  • Has no fear of the dark. She has shut herself many times in our closet and will just softly knock until we come open the door for her
  • Loves when TG or I read to her
  • Had 4 molars come in this month, so she now has 12 teeth
  • Loves to watch Pollyanna just like her mama
  • Had a growth spurt and now all her clothes are too small
  • Loves to help clean up her toys and books
  • Some new words she's added to her vocabulary are: cat (dat), up, yea, banana, apple, go, mama, cheese
Keilani loves to hang out with her dad, he is much more fun than her mama

We quickly realized how hot that little light bulb gets after only being on for a couple seconds

Alisa and I met up with our siblings Brooke and Bryson at BYU.
Keilani experienced her first ice cream cone from the Creamery.

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend. On Saturday Montell and Mekeli hosted a fabulous Easter party/egg hunt at their house. All of TG's siblings (minus the two that live in Hawaii) and their wives/girlfriend and kids were able to come. It's always fun when we all get together. I only got two pictures from the party before my camera battery died :( Keilani LOVED playing with all her cousins. While the boys watched the last Final Four game the girls all decided to go to a movie. We went and saw The Last Song. As much as I don't care for Miley Cyrus, I thought it was actually a really good movie. After that night I realized that I'm so lucky to have such awesome sisters-in-law. We all get along and there is never any drama. Thanks girls for a fun night!

On Sunday morning Carli and Tika made a wonderful Easter brunch. I especially loved the crepes! Then in the afternoon Carrie made scones for all of us which I also LOVE. TG was in heaven because I never make him scones. After that we were off to Daren and Mandy's house for our Easter dinner with my family. Daren made an awesome roast with mashed potatoes and carrots. Then for dessert my dad made strawberry shortcake with a custard, it was the best! We then ended the night with a game of Phase 10 where TG and Chaz cheated!! TG would discard all his skip cards so then Chaz would pick them up and use them to skip me. I got skipped 10 times by Chaz. No one caught onto their cheating until the end. They thought they were sooo funny.

After this weekend I realized how blessed TG and I are to have such incredible families. They would do anything for us and we would do the same. We love all of you!!

Here are some pictures from this weekend:

This is Keilani's Easter dress that she wore last Sunday.
She loved how poofy it was and didn't want to take it off.

Keilani was obsessed with Montell and Mekeli's cat. She gave him a ton of kisses.

Keilani was spoiled by Grandma Reschke. She got an adorable swimsuit and matching sunhat.

Keilani always loves playing with Cutler's toys.

I love this picture of Keilani because she is cheesing it big time.

Keilani loves to sit on her great grandma Kendall's lap.
