Cancun

So we originally were supposed to go on a cruise with a bunch of people from TG's APX office, but our flight got canceled and we missed our cruise. His boss booked us a trip to Cancun instead, which ended up being so much fun. We stayed at the Aqua Cancun, it was awesome. It was like a gigantic spa and it even smelled like one throughout the hotel. We couldn't ask to go with a better group. We had a blast together. TG and I had only been away from Keilani for 24 hours before this trip. I was nervous at first, but super grateful that TG and I were able to get away and spend some quality time with each other. A huge thanks to my incredible family that took turns watching Keilani.

This is the view of the hotel from the beach

This was the main lobby

Our little crew, we had so much fun together!

Us being silly in the elevator and that's supposed to be a peace sign.

We played volleyball all day long, it was a blast

The boys would tell everyone that there were turtles right below the pool and when they would go look they would splash water on them- they thought they were pretty funny.

Here we are getting ready to leave beautiful Cancun

We had a lovely 7 hour layover in Mexico City and it was the coldest airport I've ever been in. We had to sleep on the floor because the security people wouldn't let anyone lay on the benches, it was pretty lame.

Look who's 14 months old!

Keilani turned 14 months yesterday. She is constantly on the go and only stops when she's sleeping or eating. Because she has become so mobile she does not like to be confined for too long. These are some of the things she is doing at 14 months:
  • Walks more than she crawls and has become a very fast walker
  • She still loves drawing/coloring
  • Calls every kid, "baby"
  • Will sometimes call TG by his name, it's so funny
  • Loves any kind of ball and thinks anything round is a ball
  • She puckers up her lips when she wants to give someone a kiss
  • Loves to turn on and off our light switches
  • Is very ticklish
  • Will constantly push the pause/play button on her CD player
  • Has 8 teeth still, no new teeth this month
  • Says about 15 words
  • Will do actions to the songs we sing
  • Opens any DVD case and takes out the DVD and then puts it back in- we now have to put up all our DVDs.
  • Loves to explore knew places

My little walking machine

Keilani starting walking about a month ago and I've been meaning to put up a video of her walking for our family that live outside of Utah and those who don't see her regularly.
