Mexican Cruise

The first part of December TG's company took us on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  I had never been on a cruise, so I was super excited and it definitely exceeded my expectations.  I think the funnest part it was that we had so many of our friends and family on the cruise because they all work together.  For some reason I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I would so here are the few that I took.
These are the people we had at our table every night:
Tika and Carli
Montell and Mekeli
Some of our group heading out to Cabo.
Some of the guys playing with the band.

Formal night.

In Puerto Viarta we went on the famous zip lines, but they didn't allow us to take our cameras.  I'm really sad we didn't get any pictures of us going down the 12 zip lines.  For those who know me, know that I'm the biggest chicken ever, so for me to go down the zip lines was a HUGE deal.  It was one of the scariest things I've ever done, but I'm so glad I did it.
After the zip lines we went 4 wheeling.  Because it is incredible dusty we had to wear these attractive bandanas over our heads and mouths

A double birthday.

In the first week of December Keilani turned 3 and then two days later Tau turned 1. I can't believe how big both my kiddos are. Some of the fun things about Keilani are
  • She loves to play make believe, usually with herself. She has quite the imagination. If I ever want to know what I sound like I just eavesdrop when she's playing, it's quite comical.
  • Loves to tease her little brother (I wonder where she gets it from).
  • Loves to eat salad- kind of weird for a 3 year old, but I'll take it.
  • Wants to help me do anything and everything.
  • Will usually does most things I ask of her.
  • Her favorite show to watch is Caillou.
  • She loves to color, draw, and paint.
  • Loves to sing and dance.
Her stats are:
Weight: 32 lbs (63%)
Height: 37.25" (57%)

Here are some things Tau is doing:
  • Has mastered going up and down the stairs.
  • Loves to eat anything and everything.
  • Cruises all over the house, but is too wussy to try to walk.
  • Loves to play with anything that Keilani is playing with.
  • His favorite place to sit is in Keilani's chair.
  • Says Mama, Dada, Hi, and Ball.
  • Loves to give open mouth kisses.
  • Has 6 teeth and 2 more are poking through.
  • Has more shoes than me, thanks to his father.
  • Loves dance to any music.
Here are Tau's stats:
Length: 30.75" (79%)
Weight: 21 lbs 4 oz (25%)
Head Circ.: 48 cm (89%)

Hawaii 2011

We were so lucky to be able to go to Hawaii and visit TG's parents for two weeks. Last time we went over there was two years ago when Keilani was Tau's age. I totally forgot how hard it is to be on a 5 hour flight with a squirmy 11 1/2 month old who just wants to get down and crawl. Anyway, we had so much fun just relaxing and hanging out with family. This post is mostly going to be a picture overload.

Keilani and Tau stayed busy by playing on the iPad, snacking, bugging the people who sat next to us, coloring, playing with plastic cups, and sleeping. Fun times.

TG's mom came and picked us up from the airport and brought beautiful leis for me and Keilani.

TG's brother Mekeli and his family came out to Hawaii too. It was so much fun having them there with us. Keilani LOVED hanging out with KJ and Mia even though they are 13 and 10. Keilani basically followed Mia everywhere. Every morning the Menehunes would come and leave presents for the kids.

Mia and Keilani burying Grandpa Hiagi.

Most of these pictures were taken with TG's phone. He has some cool settings on it.

Going on our daily run to Foodland.

Keilani loved helping Grandma Susan in the kitchen.

Mekeli and Tau chillin outside of Ted's Bakery.

We went to Angel's shaved ice every single day that we were there. Yum.
